Some common complaints our more mature patients present with are similar to everyday musculoskeletal ailments however the pain and discomfort may be more widespread and movement is often more restricted.

Osteopathic care @ Anchor Point May include, but is not limited to:
  • Maintenance of functional mobility and postural balance
  • Pain Management
  • Neck and back pain
  • Shoulder, Elbow and wrist pain
  • Pelvic Pain, Knee Pain, Loss of Strength and Poor Hip Movement
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Swelling

Balance and Falls Prevention
As we age we lose strength in any muscles, many older people begin using their back rather than their hips and knees when picking objects up from the floor. Contributing over time to significant weakness in the leg and hip muscles which may have a significant impact on your ability to balance.  The chance of falling increases with age and prevention is the most effective remedy.  The educative approach used by Osteopaths combined with Balance and mobility exercises may reduce your falls risk.  Call the clinic today to find out how.
